Information about previous or formative bands: The Infamous St. Augustine High School Marching 100 Band.

Musical background/influences: Vandell started off playing the saxophone at Love Outreach Christian Church in New Orleans. By the time Vandell had graduated from high school, he realized that music was the career that he wanted to pursue. Vandell was lucky enough to study with legendary tenor saxophonist, Edward "Kidd" Jordan, at Southern University. Following hurricane Katrina, Vandell relocated to Dallas,Tx. This change in location has made a huge impact on Vandell's life. Dallas seemed like a place with more opportunity for someone who wanted to be an entrepreneur, and was also motivation for Vandell to pursue his career as an entreprenuer.
